HTC Sensation: Επίσημα με dual-core επεξεργαστή 1.2GHz, κατάστημα HTC Watch και HTC Sense UI 3.0!

Η HTC παρουσιάζει επίσημα το HTC Sensation (aka Pyramid), για το οποίο μαθαίνουμε εδώ και αρκετό καιρό ότι θα είναι η ναυαρχίδα της εταιρίας σε ό,τι αφορά τα Android smartphones!

Τα βασικά χαρακτηριστικά τα είδαμε και νωρίτερα, αλλά δε χάνουμε τίποτα να επανάλαβουμε ότι διαθέτει οθόνη touchscreen 4.3'' S-LCD ανάλυσης qHD (540 x960) με επικάλυψη Gorilla Glass, dual-core επεξεργαστή Qualcomm MSM8260 1.2GHz, κάμερα 8MP με δυνατότητα εγγραφής Full HD video 1080p και λειτουργικό σύστημα Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread!

Όπως και το HTC Flyer, το HTC Sensation έρχεται με προεγκατεστημένη την εφαρμογή HTC Watch, το νέο κατάστημα της εταιρίας για την ενοικίαση/αγορά ταινιών και τηλεοπτικών εκπομπών, το οποίο θα διαθέτει περισσότερους από 600 τίτλους με την εκκίνηση της υπηρεσίας. Οι τιμές για την Αγγλία είναι £0.99 για ενοίκιο και £1.99 για αγορά.

Ο χρήστης θα μπορεί να παρακολουθεί τα trailers μέσω σύνδεσης 3G ή WiFi, αλλά για την αγορά ή ενοικίαση θα πρέπει να είναι συνδεδεμένος σε δίκτυο WiFi, με τη ζωντανή μετάδοση να ξεκινά σε λιγότερο από 10 δευτερόλεπτα! Μετά την αγορά, το υλικό αυτό αποθηκεύεται σε ψηφιακό "ντουλάπι" και είναι προσβάσιμο από 5 διαφορετικές συσκευές HTC, αλλά όχι από κάποιον υπολογιστή.

Ακόμη, το νέο περιβάλλον HTC Sense, έρχεται με πολλές ενδιαφέρουσες αλλαγές, αρκετές εκ των οποίων προέρχονται από την αντίστοιχη έκδοση του για το HTC Flyer. Η νέα αρχική οθόνη περιλαμβάνει ένα τρισδιάστατο carousel που υποστηρίζει ατέλειωτο scrolling, ενώ και η lock screen έχει μεταβληθεί με την προσθήκη του δακτύλιου εκκίνησης, μέσα στο οποίο ο χρήστης μπορεί να τραβήξει μία εφαρμογή, με αποτέλεσμα να ξεκλειδώνει αυτόματα το τηλέφωνο και ταυτόχρονα να ανοίγει την εφαρμογή.

Το HTC Sensation θα κυκλοφορήσει στην Ευρώπη μέσα στο δίμηνο Μάιος - Ιούνιος από τη Vodafone, και μετέπειτα θα δωθεί σε άλλους παρόχους. Ακόμη, θα κυκλοφορήσει και έκδοση 4G για τις ΗΠΑ.

Tapping into HTC’s trademark design language, the HTC Sensation’s premium look and feel is enhanced by its rounded edges, aluminum unibody construction and the touch screen surface is protected by a contoured screen that feels more natural as a finger is glided across it. The HTC Sensation is also the first smartphone to feature HTC Watch – an application and service that puts an entire library of the latest, premium movies and TV shows right at your fingertips, letting people discover the latest video content in an easy and visually engaging way. HTC Watch uses progressive download technology that makes it possible to watch videos without waiting for a huge file to finish downloading. HTC Watch offers the choice of renting or buying videos, and if purchased, lets you watch them on up to five different HTC devices.
